Prayer Week 9

July 26: Pray that commitments made to serve are sincere, God focused, and followed by action.

James 2:21-23

Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. 

Prayer Week 10

July 19: Pray that staff and volunteers working with GME do not weary so that the passion burns throughout the summer.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. 

Prayer Week 11

July 12: Pray for the Keynote speakers as they discern the message God has placed upon their heart. 

Hebrews 13:20-21

May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer Weeks 12 and 13

June 28: Pray for O’Neal Tankersley (Hut director) and Steve and Vicki Smith (Tahkodah)

July 5: Pray for safety and health as participants travel from all over the world to HUT.


“In that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:4

Prayer Week 14

June 21: Pray for commitments to be made and followed up on.

Isaiah 6:8

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? ”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” 

Prayer Week 15

June 14: Pray for provision of physical materials needed for the weekend to run smoothly. 

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Weeks 16 and 17

May 31: Pray that the participants seek God's direction in the months leading up to GME and that the event be a culmination of wisdom and passion placed upon their heart by God.

June 7: Pray for unity among schools. 

My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one — I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
